Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Define and design the product under the responsibility of the Project Engineer/Engineering Manager/Program.
  • Can get the functional lead of Design Engineer under the supervision of his/her Manager.
  • Establish and develop the product definition justification using specific design tools for his/her own work and part of his/her perimeter (CAD, mechanical calculation tools, etc. …). Some specific tools may be subject specialization of some Design Engineer (eg Tool routing specific cable, …).
  • Communicate to the industrialization on time the necessary information to integrate in the ERP.
  • Keep Updated product definition justification.
  • Investigate the requests for product evolution overlooked known issues and process these requests (after approval by CCB)
  • Investigate requests changes order for CCB and provide maximum of information. He/she is not within his/her responsibility to approve only the proposed changes.
  • Ensure the application of quality processes.
  • Realize all necessary controls to validate his/her work and ensure archiving results (T/Sup, calculations, Mom, etc …).
  • Distribute the activity within the functional working group (technical contractor included).
  • Ensure overlooked his/her hierarchy the delay, technical and cost target.
  • Be able to propose a monitoring and technical summary.
  • Propose and generate ideas of design and architecture in offer phase or preliminary conception.
  • Establish or organize the part and product detailed design in compliance with the specifications and objectives defined.
  • Ensure the design interface with the rest of IPT and external stakeholders
  • Initiate meetings necessary to validate the work. (3d, drawings reviews…)
  • Initiate test request. (validation)
  • Track and organize any occasions definition linked to the first steps of the product (FAI monitoring, service return, …)
  • Maintain in condition and consistency the product definition documentary.
  • Follow technological developments and support preliminary studies if necessary (evolution products, anticipation of obsolescence and new regulations).
  • Contribute to update the development schedule
  • Report any drift in objectives to Project Engineer and engineering Manager as well as Industrialization manager.
  • Participate in Product and or Process FMEA for sub-assemblies.
  • Contribute to the development of the Justification of product definition and guarantee the quality of its content in accordance with the Project Engineer.
  • Ask internal or external experts support for any activity outside his/her competence (R&T, internal and external suppliers …)
  • Apply procedures related to its field.
  • Participate in progress actions of his/her team, especially design methodology.
  • Participate in the training of new arrival.

  • Must be detail oriented and have sound engineering judgment.

Position Summary *

The Planning data Analyst is responsible for developing, preparing, interpreting and communicating ad hoc analytic reports, standard metrics, Key Performance Indicators related to Production Planning and Supply Chain, with a specific focus on production component shortages.
The goal of this position is to be the sole source of data analytics used as reference from all Planning functions, while having the ability to make sense of data and execute analytical projects.
This position reports directly to the Planning PMO manager (Project Management Office) and is fully involved in Planning and Supply Chain operational activities, process and improvement projects.
This position is critical for using system generated data to guide behaviors and help decision making.

 

Primary Responsibilities *

  • Run analysis on production shortages and identify critical path for each airline program. Communicate conclusions and recommendations to Planning, Supply Chain and Program management
    • Ensure timely creation and processing of key performance indicators
    • Update the central repository for KPI storage and distrbution when work instructions/documents are created or modified
    • Analyze critical metrics and provide conclusions and recommendations on business process
    • Report progress on individual projects/metrics for weekly reviews
    • Run data mining upon request, build and present analytic reports to Management
  • Develop reports and dashboards based on functional specifications defined by Planning management OR re-engineer existing reports to more robust solutions (Power Query, BIRST, VBA…)
    • Document work instructions for the processing and creation of all KPI’s produced
    • Secure the change management, conduct training with teams on reporting tools, support the deployment of new repor
    • Support the development and deployment of BIRST BI tool with BA team (Business Analysis)
    • Participate in internal process audits with functional departments, once a year, using all available work instructions and processes to determine if the process is effective.
  • Suggest improvements in procedures and processes, and assist in resolving corrective or preventative actions related to process failure
    • Participate in ERP/MRP alignment and improvement activities, related to both static data and dynamic data.
    • Help preparing data migration and data clean up
    • Ensure standard data sets are being utilized to communicate to all customers.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial management field (certification in a relevant discipline)
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience on Data Analysis and/or Supply Chain
    • Exposure to ERP systems, and basic knowledge of MRP methodology
    • Advanced level in Excel, with ability to interpret raw data sets and produce graphical analytics
    • Experience in programing (preferably in SQL, VBA, Java), database concepts, and data modeling is appreciated
    • Preferably experience in an industrial production environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with focus on details
    • Ability to understand business and industrial concepts and process
    • Exposure to Testing methodologies, creating test plan, validating test cases
    • Strong Oral and written communications skills
    • Ability to develop and communicate training packages for knowledge transfer

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Chrome Plater performs plating of metallic parts to enhance corrosion protection and/or abrasion resistance. Must demonstrate ability to process per sequence of operations, including works from blueprints, sketches or specifications to ascertain sizes and finish requirements.

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Primary responsibility of the Plater is to Chrome Plate parts per scheduled load.
  • Plating of the parts requires ability to control Rectifier Settings such as the voltage and amperage as required per specifications.
  • Monitors parts to ensure that plating deposit on all surface areas are uniform and free from any pitting blisters or other non-conforming discrepancies.
  • Adhere to safety regulations such as wearing all PPE provided and following all housekeeping duties.
  • Ability to process all different types of parts including Outer Diameter (OD), Inner Diameter (ID), Flange Face and Flash Chrome.
  • Knowledge of inspection requirements and equipment such as use of Micrometers, Inner Micrometers, and Dual-Scope to verify size and thickness of parts.
  • Ability to follow precise instructions and plate to procedures and specifications. 
  • Must have excellent hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to communicate, read, and understand English.
