LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Aerospace Oven Operator for a client in Auburn, WA.

 

Job Description

 

Oven operator Ensure the parts in the oven have the correct thermocouple placement and quantity the requirements met.

 

Requirements  

  • one (1) year experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Verify oven cart paperwork with proper cure specifications.
  • Attach all vacuum probes and TC wires to the appropriate connections in the oven.
  • Determine and program the oven computer for the appropriate cure temperature/time according to specifications.
  • Control and monitor the oven throughout the cure process.
  • Unload, demold/break-out and clean cured parts and tools.
  • Ensures proper disposal of used bagging material and plaster.
  • Ability to read and understand detailed instruction; make mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50lbs
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Load composite parts onto racks, trays or carts and positions them into the oven to bake for a specified time before removing.
  • Hooks up and monitors TC wires and vacuum wires according to composite parts and specs.
  • Ensure the parts in the oven have the correct thermocouple placement and quantity requirements met.
  • Report on all production discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor. 
  • Meet schedules and time allowances for production requirements.
  • Sign off on all work performed according to specifications.
  • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environment control standards.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes workplace safety.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

Specific Job Skills:

  • Basic understanding of Oven, Press and/or Broiler operations.
  • Must be able to read the planning.
  • Able to tolerate and work in excessive heat while maintaining safe work habits.
  • Ability to learn specification for cure processes and pass the test for cure operator.
  • Able to refer to and understand manuals, read blueprints, figure/calculate tolerance and panel thickness
  • Ability to comprehend information and ideas presented orally and written.
  • Ability to provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail or in person.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • Using a cart on wheels, gather materials needed for the assembly process according to the job traveler, provided by production control; acquiring specific hardware from stores and other materials from the warehouse and then loaded onto a moving line.
  • Responsible for general area clean-up and any other duties, as assigned, to keep the production operators at their workstations; replenishing general supplies on the carts.
  • Assist or relieve any production position, temporarily when necessary, to keep the production lines moving.
  • Communicate with stores and other departments to obtain supplies and materials.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Assembles aircraft interior structures and/or parts, such as bins, galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, cargo liners, etc and builds sub-assemblies for the completion of aircraft interior structures, and/or parts using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications.

  • Manufacturing from raw material and and final assembly of complex Air Handeling Systems such as A/C ducting for Boeing, Airbus, Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft
  • Assemble parts according to blueprints and specifications, using precision measuring.
  • Performs bonding processes using adhesives, small hand tools, and assembly jigs.
  • Requires light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components.
  • Hand wraps insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape.
  • May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and requirements:

 

  • 2+ years of experience in aircraft structures or interior removal and replacement.

  • Places core laminations and separators onto lay-up mandrel

CNC Machine Operator

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for an opportunity in Auburn, WA

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Operates and adjusts semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequence of operations where programs are provided and setups are often made and maintained by others. 

 

 Qualifications and requirements: 

  • Weekend Shift
  • 5+ year related training or work experience.
  • CNC Mill operation experience.
  • Some knowledge of machining techniques and methods.
  • Requires knowledge of operations including drilling, boring and milling, turning, etc., employing recognized tooling and procedures and where tolerances are close, but not difficult to maintain.
  • Must be able to check parts for conformance to specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Read, write, understand and speak English fluently
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend or kneel for long periods of time
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Must meet ITAR Requirements
