Responsibilities: 

  • Plans and schedules parts production schedule for Company’s aviation overhaul/repair facility in support of fleet operations and external customer requirements.
  • Coordinate the prime shop’s production for station allocations, live aircraft, hangar, engine, and external customer demand (MRO), to ensure serviceable units are available when and where they are needed throughout Company’s worldwide operating system.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Leads/Foremen, maintenance technicians, shop coordinators, and inventory analysts to ensure requirements are met in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Capacity planning, production status reporting, formulation of daily shop prioritization reports, job/work package assignments and throughput metrics.
  • Identifies production constraints, material shortages, and surplus/scrap opportunities.
  • Responsible for parts receipt, handling/protection, outbound deliveries, and inventory control in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
  • Directs AMT repair activities related to changing operational requirements, and ensures all repairs are in accordance with applicable repair instructions related to EO/AD identification and accomplishment.
  • Additional responsibilities include compliance oversight per Company’s policies and procedures, as well as adherence to applicable governmental regulation.
  • Responsible for maintaining repair/compliance documents in accordance with FAR 121.380 as required, including management of repair records, configuration control, ACTL /NOAA tracking systems, unit cost capture, and warranty recovery.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant work center in accordance with federal and company guidelines.
  • Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. 

Qualifications:

 

  • High school graduate or equivalent, applicable advanced education desirable.
  • Work experience in Technical Operations – Component Maintenance or Materiel Management preferred.
  • Appropriate leadership experience preferred.
  • Must have a general understanding of Technical Operations – Engine / Hangar / Component / Materiel Management operations and processes.
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required, familiarity with Microsoft Access preferred. Experience and proficiency with computer systems (SAP, MIRS) required
  • Experience with CAPS, ACTS, ACTL and SCEPTRE preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The A&P Inspector ensures the airworthiness of customer aircraft and ensures that regulatory and company requirements are met.

Maintains proper communication and coordination between Production and Inspection personnel to deliver the customer’s product on time, in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies/procedures. Complies with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Quality Procedures (QPs), and local work instructions. Accomplishes his/her duties while maintaining a positive outlook and pleasant manner. The A&P Inspector is considered Directly in Charge of Maintenance as defined in 14 CFR Part 145.

  • Inspects all types of aircraft (including engines, electrical instruments, structures, controls, environmental control systems, landing gear, accessories, etc.) before, during, and after maintenance to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, production approval holder and military specifications, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
  • Determines the serviceability of aircraft systems, parts, and components using precision measuring guides, gauges, instruments, measuring devices, magnification, and non-destructive testing (if appropriately certified).
  • Monitors work in progress to ensure proper paperwork, procedures, techniques, and methods as prescribed by maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, approved engineering documents, and other FAA approved data are used.
  • Researches logbooks, and prepares logbook entries and sign-offs for approval for Return to Service (RTS). RTS any article that is maintained or altered by the facility, and if applicable, certify (in the appropriate records) that the article is airworthy with respect to the work performed. Approves aircraft for return to service upon completion of maintenance and/or alteration. Reports conditions adversely affecting the airworthiness of an article under repair or alteration to the Quality Leader.
  • In addition to normal duties, appropriately certificated and qualified personnel accomplish Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) within the scope of their authorization in accordance with applicable technical data.
  • Travels off-site to customer aircraft to support “road trips” for Part 91/135/121 operators.

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required. Must be appropriately certificated in accordance with 14 CFR Part 65.
  • Three or more years experience in an Aviation Production related position working on corporate aircraft required (A&P Mechanic, Avionics Installer, Sheet Metal Mechanic, etc) .

  • Demonstrated technical ability on specific airframes and engines in the areas of inspections, maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, and repairs.

  • Demonstrated ability to locate and apply FAA regulations, Advisory Circulars, Orders, Notices etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and plan work activities in an organized manner.

  • Must have good interpersonal and verbal skills in order to communicate with customers and employees.

  • Must have the minimum tools as required.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.

Job Summary:

The Aviation Maintenance Technician – Avionics Shop performs maintenance including but not limited to inspection, test, and repair of aircraft avionic/electronic components in an avionics bench repair environment in accordance with Delta approved manuals and methods. This position also performs repairs to the component level e.g. transistor, resistor, capacitor, etc. replacement. Job Qualifications:

 

The Aviation Maintenance Technician position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidate must have at least two years of bench avionics/electronics component repair experience or a minimum of 21 months of academic training specializing in avionics/electronics component repair. Candidate must pass Avionics Evaluation Test administered by Avionics management that measures the ability to read electronic schematics, identify electronic components, discuss electronic circuit operation and operate analog and digital meters. Additionally, candidate must also be able to obtain IPC-7711/7721 soldering certification through Module 5 within 12 months of assignment. Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) experience required.  FCC license is required. Candidate must be able to read and write English and be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals. Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts. Candidate must achieve a satisfactory score on the mechanical aptitude test which is structured to determine the ability to perform essential job functions. Should be able to meet the physical requirements which qualify a person to perform essential job functions including the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.  As required by the FAA for all persons in safety-sensitive positions, candidates selected for this position are required to pass an extensive background check, drug test, and hearing test. Candidate must pass Avionics Evaluation Test administered by Avionics management that measures the ability to read electronic schematics, identify electronic components, discuss electronic circuit operation and operate analog and digital meters. Additionally, candidate must also be able to obtain IPC-7711/7721 soldering certification through Module 5 within 12 months of assignment. Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) experience required.  FCC license is required. Candidate must be able to read and write English and be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals. Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts. Candidate must achieve a satisfactory score on the mechanical aptitude test which is structured to determine the ability to perform essential job functions. Job Summary:

Candidate must have at least two years of bench avionics/electronics component repair experience or a minimum of 21 months of academic training specializing in avionics/electronics component repair. Candidate must pass Avionics Evaluation Test administered by Avionics management that measures the ability to read electronic schematics, identify electronic components, discuss electronic circuit operation and operate analog and digital meters. Additionally, candidate must also be able to obtain IPC-7711/7721 soldering certification through Module 5 within 12 months of assignment. Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) experience required.  FCC license is required. Candidate must be able to read and write English and be able to comprehend and apply information contained in technical manuals. Must be willing to work rotating or fixed shifts. Candidate must achieve a satisfactory score on the mechanical aptitude test which is structured to determine the ability to perform essential job functions. Should be able to meet the physical requirements which qualify a person to perform essential job functions including the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.  As required by the FAA for all persons in safety-sensitive positions, candidates selected for this position are required to pass an extensive background check, drug test, and hearing test. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The Interior Installation Technician Senior works under limited supervision to remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interiors, which may include items such as trim, carpet, sound proofing, light structure, cabinetry, panels and other accessories. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations. Mentor and train other Interior Installation Technicians.

  • Safely perform aircraft interior removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (which may include galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors and panels).
  • Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications.
  • Mentor and train other Interior Installation Technicians. Review their work prior to sign off to ensure work complies with quality control standards.
  • Accept lead responsibilities as required. Oversee projects or other technicians and assess requirements of assigned tasks to procure required materials and documentation for assigned tasks.
  • Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work.
  • Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders and brakes. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools.
  • Prepare and install aircraft interior items in accordance with company operation procedures and quality standards.
  • Remove and re-install nut plates, inserts and other fasteners used in aircraft interiors. Apply proper use of hardware and fittings on aircraft installations.
  • Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and use personal protective equipment as required. Address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk.
  • Assist technicians with aircraft maintenance requirements.
  • Adapt to sudden schedule changes and coordinate projects with other shops/departments as required.

Additionally, candidate must also be able to obtain IPC-7711/7721 soldering certification through Module 5 within 12 months of assignment. Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) experience required.  FCC license is required. Candidate must achieve a satisfactory score on the mechanical aptitude test which is structured to determine the ability to perform essential job functions.   • Remove and replace, cut and fit systems lines, panels and structural components and associated hardware necessary to facilitate and perform basic repairs.
  • Update and sign required logs and records as required.
  • Check own work to ensure a defect free installation prior to final inspection.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, support the company FOD and 5S programs and comply with all safety regulations.
  • Maintain and use all logs and records such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, etc.
  • Support continuous improvement processes as assigned. In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required.

  • Remove and replace, cut and fit systems lines, panels and structural components and associated hardware necessary to facilitate and perform basic repairs.
  • Update and sign required logs and records as required.
  • Check own work to ensure a defect free installation prior to final inspection.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, support the company FOD and 5S programs and comply with all safety regulations.
  • Maintain and use all logs and records such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, etc.
  • Support continuous improvement processes as assigned. In support of aircraft certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests on aircraft as required. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • One (1) year related structural assembly experience.
  • Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred.
  • Requires ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams and use all tools required to do the job.
  • Ability to perform work such as basic drilling, reaming, ship fitting parts, etc.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in make-or-buy proposals and recommend corrective actions for areas of responsibility; evaluate vendors, attend vendor negotiations, and assist in resolving vendor problems.
  • Conduct research, investigation, and analysis in connection with assigned planning or other assigned projects, to ensure conformance to requirements.
  • Investigate and assist in preparing justification for equipment and facility requests.
  • Perform productibility studies from engineering drawings to identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing ability to meet requirements. Participate in Design for Manufacturing assessments with Engineering.
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential; make necessary computer inputs and generate data or reports as needed.
  • Perform audit of co-workers output based on defined requirements and procedures. Must demonstrate knowledge of ME policies and procedures.
  • Incorporate Lean Manufacturing Methodology into existing and future processes.
  • With minimal supervision, lead/coordinate the implementation of projects between multiple organizations.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to manufacturing methods as a team member or leader.
  • Support all Safety, Sustainability and Ergonomic Initiatives.
  • Aid in development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plan. 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Required Experience with ERP or Manufacturing Planning Software and Microsoft Office Software.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Eighteen months Manufacturing Engineering, planning, or related technical experience. 
  • Proven knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles.
  • Must be knowledgeable about Engineering configuration requirements, tooling, quality control, plant safety, blueprint reading, and shop math.
  • Ability to operate computerized equipment, such as personal computers, CADAM, CATIA, Solumina, SAP, Corridor.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset.
  • Previous work experience in manufacturing and independently following work instructions
  • Must be able to read and understand Delta, Boeing and Airbus process and material specifications.
  • Must be able to use precision measuring equipment.

Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Shift: M – F, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and performs repairs on refrigeration units within the applicable standard repair time allowance.
  • Understands and completes various shop paperwork including time reports and work order reports.
  • Participates in keeping shop area clean at all times.
  • Properly maintains and interprets various product/service information; including parts manuals, service manuals and product support bulletins.
  • Successfully completes all required training courses from required regulatory training.
  • Performs work in accordance to all published safety standards.

  • Refrigeration Universal 608/609 certification a huge plus!
