Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

As a Payroll Associate, you are responsible with the following functions and not limited to the ones listed below: 

  • Payroll processing on ADP platform including:
    • Timecard collection – interface with client and employee personnel to assure timely/accurate time
    • Manage Direct Deposit
    • Maintain employees data in ADP
    • Set up new employees in ADP – withholdings; personal data; I-9, etc.
    • Manage tracking of the Company Loyalty program
    • Manage tracking of HR information (vacation, sick, etc.)
    • Interface wtih ADP
    • Processes Expense Reports
    • Manage employee advances
    • Processes bonus payments
  • Expense reporting
  • Assists in month-end closing and preparation of ad-hoc reports
  • Manage State by State Business Entity registration
  • Processes Employment Verifications
  • Manages Unemployment claims
  • Office – record keeping; organization

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience processing payroll in an ADP platform.
  • Degree in Financing or Accounting preferred.
  • High Proficient with Excel and MS Office Suite.
  • Above average technical skills with PC or MAC
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills – able to effectively work with all levels of employees and managers. Communicate in a timely manner.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Having the Passion and taking the initiative to learn new things.
  • Desire to work hard and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check.

LAUNCH is hiring a Compliance Specialist with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization and enhanced multitasking abilities to work with the LAUNCH Compliance Team.  You will report within the Operations organization and will have the opportunity to learn the aviation industry, gain compliance experience, and be able to grow with the Company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Onboard all employees (employment verifications; background checks; I-9 e-verify, etc.)
  • Review and meticulously edit a specific set of compliance documentation
  • Ensure all reviewed documents exactly meet our clients’ rules and state laws
  • Contact employees in regard to missing or incorrect paperwork
  • Answer phones and questions employees may have
  • Work with multiple internal departments to process a substantial volume of documents
  • Audit information in documents for accuracy and proactively work to minimize future errors
  • Call attention to discrepancies and work amicably with coworkers to perfect documents
  • Learn and maintain knowledge base of current company, state and federal regulations to ensure the greatest possible compliance

  • Conduct phone screen interviews to properly match candidates with the right opportunities.
  • Properly enter and update candidate details into LAUNCH’s internal software database.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to support client recruiting needs to match the right candidate with the right opportunity.
  • Develop network of candidates utilizing recruiting resources and maintain candidate relationships utilizing LAUNCH’ internal database.
  • Continually work with the team of recruiters to support clients and promote company growth.
  • Work with Account Managers to develop business leads.  
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Special Projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3 years of experience as a recruiter.

  • Aviation, Engineering, Clericial, or Administrative knowledge is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in the aerospace industry is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor Degree is preferred but not required.
