LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Shot Peen Operator for an opportunity in Everett, WA.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate machine to enhance surface of parts
  • Determine usage of different machines according to customer requirements
  • Anticipate and overcome production related problems, material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and delays where possible and plan to reduce their impact on the operation
  • Perform daily tests to determine size and shape of media
  • Run test specimens and provide to customer as required
  • Coordinate company projects and programs designed to support different initiatives
  • Communicate with customer service on recovery dates and expected completion dates for processing
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines and submit maintenance requests for further maintenance work.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 2 plus years of experience in Aerospace.
  • Blueprint reading preferred.
  • Familiar with precision tools.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
