Chiefl Inspector
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Chief Inspector for an opportunity in Georgetown, DE.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Chief Inspector is responsible for the overall operation of the Installation Inspection Department. Additionally, the Chief Inspector is responsible for directing, planning, and laying out the details of inspection standards, methods, techniques, practices, and procedures used by this Certificated Repair Station (CRS) in complying with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (including other National Aviation Authorities), specific air carrier requirements and manufacturer's specifications and recommendations. The Chief Inspector has the final authority in the releasing to service all articles for this repair station.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Requires High School diploma or equivalent reading, writing, and math abilities.
- Bachelor's degree, military leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Certified Repair Station.
- Must have experience returning aircraft to service.
- Experience and ability to supervise others.
- Proficiency in the use of inspection aides, test equipment and techniques to determine quality of airworthiness.
- Ability to manage and motivate a multidiscipline team to meet program commitments.
- Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office software and other company and discipline specific software applications.
- Ability to build positive relationships and maintain cross-functional partnerships.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours, when needed.
- Ability to perform a Quality Control Lead Inspectors’ duties and responsibilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Read, write, and understand the English language.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license is required.
- FAA Inspection Authorization Preferred.
