ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – 
 
  • Performs testing of turbine fuel controls to determine serviceability and airworthiness.
  • Operates hydraulic and pneumatic benches to perform testing.
  • Collects data and readings from precision measuring equipment such as hydraulic/pneumatic gauges, torquemeters, dial indicators and dial calipers. 
  • Utilizes special tools and/or equipment to perform tests and/or checks as required to confirm fuel control serviceability. 
  • Read and interprets maintenance manuals, or other technical data, to perform the assigned tasks.
  • Properly documents all inspection findings and work performed in the appropriate maintenance records to meet established standards.
  • Functions well in an environment where both hearing protection and long periods of standing is required.
  • Maintains work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner, practices proper tool and FOD control.
  • Follows shop standard work procedures for clean up and equipment preventive maintenance.
  • Manages own work projects and is flexible with work priorities.
  • Performs work safely and conscientiously.
  • Other duties as assigned.
