Responsibilities:
As an Open/Close Technician, you will be trained to perform aircraft panel removal and installation.
You will assist licensed personnel in gaining access to aircraft by removing and replacing panels on ERJ's and other Regional aircraft. Potential for advancement in the aircraft industry exists, as this job will provide an entry level introduction to what aircraft maintenance is all about.

- Sun – Wed: 6:00AM – 4:30PM or 4:00PM – 2:30AM
- Wed – Sat: 6:00AM – 4:30PM or 4:00PM – 2:30AM
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION
- Must have some sort of aviation background and/or experience
- Must have own set of tools - interiors tool list attached in Files tab
- Must have minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Hiring Process: Submission --> Virtual Interview via Microsoft Teams --> Offer/Decline
- Must be willing to roll direct with Embraer
- Candidates need to accept offers within 24 hours of the offer being made.
- Candidates need to complete pre-employment paperwork (NHP) within 72 hours of accepting a job offer.
- Candidates need to be compliant by noon the Thursday before their start or they will be pushed out.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repairs, and maintenance.
- Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations

Week 1 – Responsibilities / Expectations / Culture / Environment
- Open/Close technician will primarily be assisting mechanics and performing mostly interior work
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to report to main lobby on Day 1
- Information about uniforms will be provided on your first day
- Bring a water bottle, coffee cup or other container to use during the week.
- When arriving for Onboarding please have your identification ready to show the Security Officer at the front desk
- Pictures will be taken on the first day for Badging.
- To align with the safety guidelines recommended by the FAA, we exclusively endorse the use of 'brushless' cordless equipment. Therefore, Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services only permits BRUSHLESS handheld cordless equipment on our premises.

- Candidate must have very good mechanical skills, and be able to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
