MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION

We need recent + relevant
- 4+ years minimum of on aircraft avionics (production/MRO) but NOT bench techs
- Must have experience on aircraft installations
- Needs knowledge of crimpers/crimping procedures
- Can have rotary or fixed wing (but will be working rotary onsite)
- Strong preference on helo / military (aerospace) experience
- Knowledge of various aviation electrical components - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Interview Pre-screen questions (this is what they will ask about & judge off of) - would NOT send these directly but would talk about them during your phone screens to reference if a candidate it strong enough; - What Aircraft have you worked on?
- Have you done any harness Mods or new Harness installs?
- When installing Cannon Plugs the main keyway should face in which direction? The Answer is up or in the direction of flight (they could also say up and Forward).
- Have you had production experience?
- Are you familiar with the Daniels crimping tools?
- You have no issues navigating the Daniels website?
- Have you used solder sleeves?
- (if they answer yes to above) what’s the purpose of the thermal indicator? It indicates proper temperature has been reached.
- Have you routed Coax?
- If yes ask about the things you must pay extra attention to when routing Coax. Should be something like pressure at securing points and bend radius.
- Have you terminated Coax’s before?
- Are you familiar with wiring diagrams?
- Have you worked with EMI backshells?
- Have you done trouble shooting?
- Have you installed antennas?

JOB DESCRIPTION – FORMATTED TO BE SHARABLE
30% - Assemble, modify & install wire bundles, conductors & other electrical components
30% - proper documentation & logging critical information
30% - Read & Interpret schematics assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, written instructions, etc
10% - Others projects as assigned- Able to assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors and other electrical components.
- Clearly document work performed, control equipment status tags, log critical information during installation, verify parts requests, etc..
- Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, written instructions, etc.
- Able to use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink gun, complex, specialized aircraft test equipment, etc.
- Effectively communicate, orally and written, with other employees, members of supervision, and others, as required in their duties.
- Perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions, also while wearing required safety equipment.
