Job Summary:

The US Sales Manager is responsible for creating proposals, evaluating RFP requirements, and establishing milestone dates for the proposal content.  The Sales Manager has primary responsibility for sales activity within and on between various company business units.  The US Sales Manager will be the primary US based representative for the Japanese based aerospace manufacturer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned:
•Develop and maintain relationships with key customer decision makers. with the intent of securing and supporting contracts.
•Responsibilities include proposal development/review and the scheduling and coordination of RFQ team requirements.  Work closely with company to establish and adhere to proposal process schedules.
•Take lead role in sales activity between US based customers and various Japanese company business units.
•Ensure all proposals are completed accurately and submitted prior to the customer deadlines.
•Using established procedures and working independently, manages all US based sales functions for company
•Establish and update Marketing plan forecasting opportunities for product and customer growth.
•Study sales techniques by staying current with the industry marketing trends. 
•Ability to build and maintain a network of customer base decision makers.
•Perform other duties as assigned.

•Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university

•3-4 years’ experience within a sales and/or marketing administrator/coordinator/support role.
•Strong communication skills.
•Professional appearance and ability to establish customer relationships.
•Ability to understand and negotiate contracts.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks under various timelines.
•Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills utilizing sound judgment 
•Ability to understand and relay a certain level of technical content successfully.
•Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
•Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products

•Moderate travel within the U.S. and abroad may be required to support Company programs.

•Bilinqual in Japanese and English highly preferred
