Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, electrical, suspension, and airbrake repairs, and run diagnostics on the fleet.
  • Will be working on dump trucks, roll-offs, aerial trucks, backhoes, street sweepers and other medium/heavy duty trucks.

Job Summary

 

Conduct structural analyses of Landing Gear and Systems components working within an integrated product development team reporting to the stress lead. Prepare static and fatigue analyses in support of drawing releases, development of qualification test requirements, and documentation of stress analyses for Customer review and MRB support. All analyses are to be prepared in compliance with the project stress philosophy documentation and applicable Corporate Engineering Manual requirements and methodologies. Contractor must adhere to Customer’s Proprietary Information Agreement and must be compliant with ITAR and other regulatory requirements.

 

 Qualifications and Reequirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical/aerospace/structural engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of directly related stress analysis experience is required.
  • Strong background of strength, stability and fatigue analyses of metallic primary structural components using both computer modeling and classical hand analysis methods is required
  • Clear understanding of external loads, load paths and development of component and system free body diagrams is required.
  • Proficient at using computing tools and programs including MS Office (Word, Excel) and Windows is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is required.
  • Prior experience with ABAQUS or ANSYS FEA is required.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace materials is desired.
  • Working knowledge of CATIA V5 is desired.
  • Prior use of PDM/PLM system (Smarteam, MatrixOne, Teamcenter) is desired.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes is desired. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills is desired.

LAUNCH TransTechs is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to perform routine scheduled maintenance and inspections on fleets of vehicles, Federal DOT inspections, troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, alignments, suspension, hydraulics, transmissions and electrical, etc.

Shift: 4/10s Tues. – Sat., 2nd Shift

Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour depending on experience

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adjusting and relining brakes, aligning wheels, tightening bolts and screws, and reassembling equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing all makes of vehicles.
  • Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining automotive and mechanical equipment.
  • Raising trucks, buses and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
  • Attaching test instruments to equipment, and reading dials and gauges to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Filling out and submitting all required documents in an accurate and timely manner on a company provided iPad.
  • Communicating with customers clearly and providing excellent customer service.
  • Abiding by all safety directives, especially those for personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • The equivalent of a high school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience with class 6 – 8 truck maintenance and repair.
  • ASE and CDL certification preferred
