Trunk Stock Coordinator – Engineering Department

Trunk stock are samples of our tools that sales people provide to their customers to test.  The customer either then buys the tools or returns them. 

Duties

• Review and approve orders from sales people for trunk stock. On average, there are approximately 50 orders per day. 
• Inspect used tools to determine if they can be used again.
• Obtain trunk stock inventory data from Rackview which is then dumped into Excel. The Trunk Stock Coordinator is responsible for manipulating the data to create necessary reports in Excel to track the trunk stock and provide information to management in regard to the specific stock each sales person has requested, for which customer and its value.
• Maintains stock list of used tools which are returned to Engineering inventory of used tools for further use.
• Interact with sales people in regard to trunk stock orders.
