Assembly Test Technician - New Bonus!
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Assembly Test Technician for an opportunity in Addison, Illinois.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for following procedures for product assembly, fabrication, test, inspection of operator’s products, equipment operation, inspects manufactured or processed products to ensure compliance with contract specification and safety requirements as documented in the company’s quality system. The Technician is also responsible for handling products, equipment and materials per the Production Department and company’s quality system procedures.
- Performs functional and acceptance testing on final products and completes functional testing data sheets and maintain records as required.
- Use hand measurement gages, test equipment to ensure product compliance.
- Records first pass yield information and documents measurements on inspection sheets and in database.
- Reports any quality or safety issues to supervisor in a timely manner
- Light assembly and repairs as required
- Meets productivity standards, complete works in a timely manner.
- Reads blueprints and specifications to determine components parts and assembly sequences of units and units are in compliance.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 1 – 3 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to understand technical drawings and FTP/ATPs.
- QC experience in an aerospace environment is a plus.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
