Honing Operator
We are looking for a skilled Honing Operators for our facility in Lincolnshire, IL. Our company is a industry leading Hydraulic valve manufacturer/distributor for companies all over the world. This is a 2nd Shift role working from 4pm to 2:30am, Monday through Friday with Saturday optional. 10 hours of OT is required. Pay starts at $18.50p/hour and could go up depending on experience. Job Details/Requirements:
- 2-3 years of honing experience within a manufacturing facility/environment
- Strong hand and eye dexterity and a steady hand to ensure you can safely and properly operate the mahchines
- Comfortable with working on feet for the entirety of shift
- Lift and move up to 20 or 30 pounds throughout shift
- Familiar with using hand and power tools to assist in process
- Able to read measurements and properly document them
- Communicate with leads on any issues or product quality problems
- Understanding of basic math is a must. Addition, subtractions, multiplication and division
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
