Diesel Mechanic

Location: Houston Texas

Pay Rate: $24-$26 per hr.

 

Shifts: (shift 1 hours 6am - 4pm) (shift 2 hours 10am - 8pm)

 

Responsibilities:

 

Will be expected to do and train on all above as well as

 

• Engine overhauls

• Complete inframes

• Transmissions and related components

• Strong working knowledge of traditional and newer engines

• Strong knowledge and awareness of computer aided diagnostics & troubleshooting

• Completing major and minor repairs roadside as required YOU WILL BE

 

EXPECTED TO MEET THESE JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 3 years of experience truck or car engines (can include school       training)

- Knowledge and comfort using computers and handheld devices

- Ability to change tires

 

- High School diploma (Diesel trade school recent grad welcome)

- Contract work week (shift 1 hours 6am - 4pm) (shift 2 hours 10am - 8pm)

- Own tools
