Fabrication Supervisor
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor in Gainesville, TX
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This position supervises fabrication operations to ensure optimal performance of the fabrication department and/or commodity work cell. Manages production schedules, manpower allocation, cost and safety standards. Ensure quality standards, employee training and high employee morale in the fabrication department.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field preferred.
- Must have knowledge of MRP systems, scheduling and blueprints.
- At least two years experience in production processes, machinery, and equipment related to sheet metal fabrication, plastic forming technology, foam and adhesive/upholstery assembly, welding applications, and/or metalworking technology.
- MAPICS experience preferred.
