Senior Manager:  Aircraft Level Requirements 

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager:  Aircraft Level Requirments for an opportunity in Nagoya, Japan. 

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsible engineer will work the activities of ALR Integration which will include interfacing with all other aircraft and system functions and engineering teams to coordinate and obtain the approval for any task assigned contributing to the ALR development and Certification. Coordinate all operational aspects on each requirement, including scheduling, scope and cost in support of the Project Manager and the ATA Manager. Work in a multi-cultural team and an international working environment in Japan. Japanese Language skill is not required.

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, with 10+ years of Aeronautical and/or Systems engineering experience
  • At least 5 years’ related experience preferably managing a team for either a major tier 1 supplier or an Aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturer
  • In-depth understanding of program/project management related to System Integration practices at the aircraft level
  • Experience in Flight Test procedures and their execution to verify system performance
  • In-depth understanding of the Verification and Validation process
  • Demonstrated success in integrating equipment and systems on recent new aircraft programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to utilize leadership, interpersonal and communication skills while working as part of a multicultural/international team
  • Ability to develop, plan and implement short and long-term goals
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Ability to strategize, plan and execute objectives on-time
  • Must be able to work with little supervision, be detail orientated, flexible in terms of hours and responsibilities as required and be able to organize multiple priorities and work deadlines, in accordance with Schedules, Test Plans, Authority Guidelines and Certification
