Quality Assurance Specialist
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist in Atlanta, GA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The QA Specialist will be responsible for the Inspection of incoming goods and products and ensuring all items are inspected for quantity, quality, conformity to approved data, state of preservation, and are received from an approved source.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 6+ years of experience as a technician and / or inspector in an aviation environment
- Must be able to be proficient with computers
- Must be capable of using traditional measuring devices, such as scales, depth gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify that parts and raw materials meet specification requirements
- Must be capable of interpreting drawings, blueprints, service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, industry specifications, and any other related documents, as requiredMust be able to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Quality control experience desirable.
- Experience with fabrication methods and practices of structural, composite and electrical parts and components desirable.
- Knowledge of equipment and facility maintenance, housekeeping and shop practices desirable.
- Excellent computer skills and be proficient with MS Office applications desirable.
- Experience with Epicor ERP software desirable.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must have a clean criminal background
