JOB DESCRIPTION – FORMATTED TO BE SHARABLE
Position Summary:
- Working under direct supervision level one forge press operator completes basic forging tasks such as interpreting job doc including verify material sizes and correct tooling with job router.
- Completes basic forging tasks as relates to running a forging press.
- They will also be introduced to basic hand held inspection tools such calipers, micrometers, and thermometers, and will be required to perform basic in process inspection tasks, such as dimensional and temperature checks demonstrating very basic print reading and shop math skills. Basic hand tools.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Perform basic forging tasks
- Perform basic inspection processes
