Liaison Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Liaison Engineer for an opportunity in Fort Worth, Texas.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Supports coordinating issue resolution with in house and partner engineering, answering technician questions, preparing documentation in support of repairs, researching and documenting issues occurring in the hangar and support continuous improvement projects
Qualifications and requirements:
- 5+ years of liaison or repair of aircraft structures engineering
- Advanced knowledge of aircraft structural configuration, structural load path, design of repairs, standard repairs, repair methods, repair materials, sheet metal, machining, and composites
- Basic CAD skills, SolidWorks experience preferred
- Ability to work multiple projects and multi task
- An advanced understanding of aircraft repair procedures (FAA AC 43.13)
Preferred - Degree in aerospace, experience with passenger to freighter conversions, experience on 777, experience on Boeing repair approval process, experience with fabrication by sample process, advanced understanding of FAA rule and regulations related to aircraft modifications and Supplemental Type Certificates (STC), experience with continuous improvement projects.
