Provides full on-site maintenance flight/functional check flight operations to support the USAF Rotary Wing Initial Entry Pilot Training on the MH-139/AW-139
Duties

  • Provide aviation maintenance and repair services, operational support, including testing of aircraft, aviation systems, and associated support equipment.

  • Interpret technical data, publications, and directives.

  • Complete all launch and recovery of aircraft flights and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.

  • Isolate and troubleshoot faults.

  • Manage all documentation including internal contractor pilot and non-rated crew member flight records, HAZMAT, safety, scheduling, etc.

  • Complies with all regulatory, customer, and contractual requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • FAA A&P license required

  • 5 years of AW experience (client is open to looking at candidates who have at least 3 years)

  • Must be a US citizen

  • Must be able to provide own tools

  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.

  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and carry for short distances.

  • May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.

  • Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.

  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.

  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.

  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc
