- Disassembles, cleans, inspects, and assembles turbine engine fuel controls.
- Reads and interprets maintenance manuals, or other technical data to perform the assigned tasks.
- Inspects fuel controls and parts for damage and wear using visual examination as well as special tooling and equipment.
- Uses general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools and precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial calipers, dial indicators and pressure gauges.
- Performs trained use of hydraulic and pneumatic test benches.
- Properly documents all inspection findings and work performed in the appropriate maintenance records to meet established standards.
- Maintains work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner, practices proper tool and FOD control.
- Follows shop standard work procedures for clean up and equipment preventive maintenance.
- Manages own work projects and is flexible with work priorities.
- Performs work safely and conscientiously.
- Other duties as assigned.
