COMPENSATION / SCHEDULE
Weekly Pay (on 40 hours) / PACKAGE RATE:  
ST: DOE
 3+ yrs on engines- $34 ST /51 OT
 5+ yrs on engines - $37 ST / 55.5 OT
8+ yrs on engines - $40 ST / 60 OT 

PD:  720/WK split if needed

WORK SCHEDULE:
* Wichita is a union shop, so shift allocation is based on seniority. Must be flexible
1st shift: 6:30AM
2nd Shift: 3PM (will most likely be 2nd)

**MUST BE AVAILBLE TO TRAIN ON FIRST SHIFT FOR 2 WEEKS **

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION
New safety shoe requirements listed under "week 1" below.
You have a minimum of 3 years’ engine experience 
Honeywell TFE 731's, HTF/AS907's, Rolls Royce BR 700-710's, Pratt and Whitney PW305's, G.E. CF34-3's, G.E. Passports
A&P active license (at least 6 months in last 2 years)
TOOLS - etched & shadowed (list/expectations in files)
You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
You have the ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
You have the ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays
You have the ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
You have basic PC skills 
You have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (If applicable)??????

Week 1 – Responsibilities / Expectations / Culture / Environment

• Need full set of tools with you day 1 (in files); etched & shadowed
• SAFETY SHOES are required - as of Feb 14, 2025 Only 2 approved suppliers will be allowed: Cintas and SR Max with Cintas being main supplier.
• Contractors required to obtain their safety shoes prior to starting their employment. An audit on the proper shoe attire will be conducted similar to tools inventory during the orientation week.

JOB DESCRIPTION – FORMATTED TO BE SHARABLE

Engine Technicians will be primarily performing line maintenance, borescopes, and soap samples, LRU’s and engine changes
 

• Adhere to General Work Requirements
• Perform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, for example, Major Periodic Inspection (MPI), Hot Section Inspection (HSI) in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals
• Troubleshoot and repair basic engine and related aircraft problems at on-site and off-site locations
• Assist in complex engine and related aircraft repairs at on-site and off-site locations
• Perform removal, installation, and replacement of engines, accessories
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble aircraft engines
• Replace all Line Replace Units (LRU) as required
• Assist with fueling/defueling aircraft as required
• Assist with engine operational check and functional tests
• Assist Aviation Maintenance Technicians in the operation of ground support equipment (GSE), for example, ground power units, tugs, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing units
• Assist Aviation Maintenance Technicians and Electronic/Avionics Technicians in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft
• Perform basic sheet metal and electrical repairs as required
• Access and re-install aircraft components, which obstruct the performance of assigned tasks
• May perform Designated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QA
• Assist other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification
