Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs correctly and efficiently on buses. This is a safety-sensitive position. Employees holding this position are responsible for the safe performance of job duties.
- Remove dents and dings from vehicles
- Repaint damaged exterior of vehicles
- Remove damaged sections of vehicles and install replacement parts
- Paint repaired parts and full vehicles
- Complete tear down of vehicle for painting
- Reassembly of vehicles after paint or complete repairs
- Weld replacement parts into place
- Install glass windows
- Organize and coordinate work of damaged vehicles
- Move vehicles in and out of paint booth
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion in a timely manner
- Strict observance of all safety procedures
- Possess a full set of tools necessary to perform the tasks assigned
