LAUNCH Defense is Hiring for a Structures Mechanic Level 2. The Aircraft Structural Mechanic is responsible for assessing aircraft damage and draft repair procedures to aircraft structural and composite components.
The selected candidate must be able to utilize advanced metalworking practices and depot level techniques to form, cut, bend, and fasten new / repair components to damaged structures. Must be highly proficient in close tolerance drilling/reaming for installation of high-strength fasteners. Expert in the use powered / non-powered metalworking tooling and equipment.

Required Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 10+ years of depot level structural maintenance experience
- Previous Air Force Specialty Code 2A773 highly desirable.
- Multi aspect aviation qualifications / certifications / disciplines and ability to train these skills a must.
- Experience supporting DoD contracts.
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within depot level maintenance.
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airplane and/or Powerplant certification a plus
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
