LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Composite Bondres for an opportunity in Mansfield, TX.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 The Bond Technician is responsible for the repair, fabrication, assembly, and bonding of composite and metallic aircraft components in accordance with approved technical data, engineering requirements, and quality standards. This position requires experience in composite repair processes, bonded structure repairs, and the safe operation of specialized bonding and fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hands-on composite repair experience and a strong understanding of aerospace repair standards. Experience in aircraft structures and manufacturing environments is beneficial but secondary to composite and bonding expertise

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience performing composite repair, bonded structure repairs, and adhesive bonding processes in an aerospace or aviation environment required.
  • Some experience in aerospace manufacturing, aircraft structures, or structural assembly and repair environments preferred.
  • Mechanic Airframe Certificate preferred.
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of composite materials, adhesives, bonding processes, and structural repair techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, technical publications, and repair specifications.
  • Familiarity with composite repair equipment, bonding systems, and fabrication tools.
  • Ability to safely operate ground support, shop, and testing equipment as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet production schedules.
  • Access to Export-Controlled Information may be required.
