Structural Technicians responsible for….

Reading and interpreting mechanical fabrication and installation drawings.  Perform installation and troubleshooting of various mechanical systems on the aircraft.  Normal/corrected sight to 20/20, and normal color vision.  Perform mechanical sub-assembly fabrication.  Ability to use sheet metal modification tools.  Tests, adjusts and replaces parts such as tires, wiring, and instruments using various test equipment, technical diagrams, maintenance manuals, and mechanics' tools. Is familiar with the field's procedures, practices and concepts. May perform quality control inspection for work done by other technicians. Ensures documents and records are maintained. Coordinate and inspect parts. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
