Tool Room Machinist / Manual Machinist - Day Shift Opportunity

Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $28-$30 per hour

What You'll Do:

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machine tools in the tool room.
• Fabricate, repair, and maintain tooling and other precision components.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Maintain accurate measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
• Keep the workspace organized and tools properly maintained.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with manual machining, including lathes and mills.
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Ability to fabricate and repair tools, jigs, fixtures, and precision parts.
• Knowledge of different toolroom materials and machining techniques.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Additional certifications in machining or tooling.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or technical training in machining or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on manual machining experience.
