School Bus Technician
LAUNCH TransTechs is looking for a School Bus Technician for routine and preventative maintenance procedures; as well as, to assist with frequent DOT inspection in Hampton, NJ.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
Shift: M – F, 1st shift
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Routine and preventative maintenance on diesel powered school buses.
- Build, rebuild and repair all parts of automotive equipment.
- Diagnose any mechanical, electrical, and any other breakdown or failure.
- Inspect equipment used.
- When applicable use welding skills.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Equivalent of a high school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
- Must furnish own tools and steel toe boots.
- Valid driver's license.
- CDL preferred, but not required.
